Langhorn Smith project

Andek Corporation is celebrating their 34th year as a manufacturer of specialty coatings...and our relationship dates back to a significant portion of that time. Located in New Jersey, over the years their chemists have developed liquid applied products for metal roofing, both commercial and vintage surfaces. These products include acrylic, copper liquid and other specialty items

As their website begins, "Andek Corporation designs, manufactures and markets high-performance coatings and sealant systems. The extensive range of over 100 products are used worldwide on roofs, walls, floors and industrial surfaces..." Due to their unique talent, they have developed one-of-a-kind materials to solve difficult and challenging projects. All their products employ high quality components.

Since Andek Corp specializes in addressing niches in the metal roofing field, you could find unique products. An example of one of their hidden gems is Rubberkote 1047, a coating that can be applied in the rain and/or in the ponding surfaces found on flat roofs. Another example is their copper liquid that can be applied to many roofing surfaces, gutters, downspouts, art pieces, etc. Or if you are seeking a shiny roof of a blue, red or some other tint, you could coat your surfaces with their clearcoat.

Below are photos of some of the projects you will find Andek products. Most of them illustrate tin roofing projects where metal roofing, some dating back to the mid-1800s, can be preserved and weatherproofed.

If you are seeking an estimate using Andek Corporation metal roofing products, such as their acrylic or liquid copper, we would be pleased to hear from you. Just call 610-941-1051, ask for Miriam

From the blog at Lady on the Greene Antique Center:
"December 12, 2006 - We are contracting a historic Roofing company in North Carolina to restore and repair the roof. We are keeping our fingers crossed that it will work out."
"January 10 2007 - The roof is completely restored and beautiful. Roof Menders did a great job, the leaks were completely taken care of on the first shot."
