Copper sheet restoration main page
Roofdx copper, a copper liquid coating designed for roof restoration work, can be applied in various ways. The photos below illustrate, step by step, the process of applying Roofdx copper in a fully reinforced project.
The customer received a weatherproofed copper roof with a ten year warranty against leakage. Plus the customer could watch the aging process of the roof surface.

As in any roofing project, the prepping is essential to the success of the project. Using a pressure washer and clorox, the crew cleans the work area. From time to time, leaves from nearby trees were removed.
The Roofdx copper five gallon pail is opened. Unlike many water-based acrylic roof coatings, this formulation requires stirring.

The next step is the most challenging for the crew
Applying mesh is an art form. Few training backgrounds can teach an
applicator to create a pleasing appearance of the mesh:
perhaps years of practice or a tailor's resume.
Even those crew members who are accustom to applying mesh with acrylic will agree Roofdx copper is more difficult. But the results are worth the effort.
