Over time the coating surface ages to patina green, just like copper sheets. The copper liquid coating can weatherproof your roof against leaks. In the photos below, the existing copper roof had been damaged during a winter season by a determine ice picker. This attempt to remove ice and snow damaged the roof panels so that interior leaking occurred. Also some of the fasteners were loose due to the extreme temperature changes.
Emergency repairs helped for a while, but the owner wanted a long-term solution.
